Hi, I am Shashi and I’m an Indian doctor and public health professional currently pursuing a PhD in Diabetes. My journey with diabetes is deeply personal and profoundly impactful.
Growing up, I watched my mother battle Type 2 Diabetes. I saw her health deteriorate day by day, and it was heart-wrenching to witness her struggles. Despite her best efforts, managing her condition was a constant challenge. This personal connection to diabetes ignited a passion in me to learn more about the disease, its management, and how to support those affected by it.
As a doctor, I’ve encountered countless patients grappling with diabetes, each with their own unique struggles and stories. Through my clinical experience and research, I’ve gained invaluable insights into the complexities of diabetes management. However, it’s my mother’s journey that has been my greatest motivator.
